going back to bullet journaling
recently, i've been feeling super overwhelmed. i don't have even that many tasks to do as i'm done with this semeste,r but even the easiest things were getting pushed away because i didn't feel like it.
i thought about picking up the undated weekly insert for my traveler's notebook i have lying around from my last planner attempt from months ago. however, no pre-made planner has ever been the right fit for me. these planners either have too much or too little space, or i realise that the format is just not what i want. plus, i change my mind constantly on what i want or need for planning.
today, i stumbled upon Ryder Carroll's videos and decided to go back to bullet journaling instead. i don't think i've actually ever done the original bullet journal method. back then i created more aesthetic spreads, making a hobby of it more than just a tool, but nowadays i got an actual journal for that and a desperate need for a functional planner.
so i went out today and picked up a dot grid insert, sat down in a cafe and created the most bare bones, minimalist bullet journal there is. i got the index, the intentions, the future log, the monthly view - just the running date list this time - and today's date with a bunch of actions attached to it. i don't know how much i'll use the note/emotion bullets yet, but i'll be working on multiple projects next semester, i'll find a way.
currently, i feel unstoppable. who's to say how long will this whole experiment last but i'd prefer not to go back to the Google calendar, i wanna be a physical planner/bullet journal girlie once again.
